Australia: Sydney's Bipolar weather

For all those who have lived in Australia for an extended period of time, I'm sure you've experienced Sydney's bipolar weather. The cycle usually goes like this , within the course of one hour. One minute it's sunshine and rainbows. THE NEXT pouring torrential rain. Another minute passes and we have a slight drizzle. The sky lights up and the clouds part. THEN COMES THE SUN-SHOWER.
School uniforms never dry in time, those jeans i wanted to wear are still damp and all that we've gained from today's weather is a fading rainbow.
Honestly i'd rather Winter be a snowy landscape, filled with aromatic pine trees and snowmans. Like this. (check out my post about Korea's Winterwonderland) http://myheartremembersyou.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/interesting-things-about-korea-nami.html
